1. There are NO COURTESY SLIPS and NO FREE DOCKING. All slips are either owned or rented. Please refrain from docking in a slip that you do not either OWN or RENT or otherwise have permission from the slip owner to use. Boat owners will be CHARGED the applicable daily rate for any unauthorized overnight docking ANY WHERE in the Marina. 

2. The slips and day dock are for the use of DOA MEMBERS and their guests only- NOT HOA MEMBERS, GUESTS OR RENTERS. See Marina Office for slip rental information. 

3. Boats docking in the marina are controlled by the DOCKMASTER. The Dockmaster will use his discretion on allowing boats to tie up at the day dock for a short-term use such as loading or unloading of boats. 

4. Individual slip owners control their own slip. If an individual slip or boat lift owner cannot get their boat back into the slip due to mechanical breakdown, a lift problem, or due to a strong current they may contact the Dockmaster about temporarily docking elsewhere on an emergency basis. 

5. Cleaning of fish is to be done only on the fish cleaning tables, not on the deck or docks. 

6. Please be considerate of your neighbors when working on your boat. 

7. Coolers, chairs, fishing equipment, dinghies, and kayaks are not to be stored on the docks. 

8. All slip owners and LONGTERM tenants must have a HURRICANE PLAN, PROOF OF INSURANCE, and an EMERGENCY CONTACT number on file with Dockmaster. 

9. All SHORTTERM renters (less than a month) must have PROOF OF INSURANCE, an EMERGENCY CONTACT number, and a CREDIT CARD number on file with the dockmaster. 

10. All slip owners and renters must follow the OTYC HURRICANE EVACUATION POLICY otherwise they will be charged a fine of $1500. Responsibility for damages to docks and other OTCY property by failure to follow the policy will be on the boat owner or slip owner if renting. 

11. Children under AGE 13 must be wear LIFE JACKETS and be accompanied by an adult when on the docks.

12. There WILL NOT be any recreational swimming in the marina because of the proximity to HIGH VOLTAGE ELECTRICAL wires. 

13. Fishing off the docks shall be by rod & reel or cast nets only. NO SPEAR GUNS, BOWS & ARROWS, or other WEAPONS are to be used. 

14. All dock boxes (standard 6 FT / 8 FT box) are to match. Contact the Dockmaster to place an order.

15. Dog must be on LEASHES at all time when on the docks and OTYC property. Pet owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets.
